Changes that have advanced Human Resource
Engaging employees
Employees should ensure that they work hard to execute the change in an organization for better results(Armstrong, et al 2014). They do this by developing teams whereby the employees in their different levels are engaged in decision making. The HR department also involves the employees in different roles and responsibilities for effective change.
Overcoming resistance
The HR department should ensure that it communicates clearly on the changes before they are executed(Brewster, et al 2016). It should also help the employees to understand the reason for the change and how it is affecting them. They do this by ensuring that the HR managers are trained oh how they will tackle questions from the employees.
Flexibility and creativity
For any HR to be successful in the future, it should ensure that it is responsible for any changes that need an organization. Having an open mind in the changing world, an HR group should be flexible as the changing effect takes place in an organization. In consideration of this point, the growth in markets will require flexibility and creativity as new businesses try to be successful in new places, using new employee and customers.
How historical government HR regulation enacted affect stakeholders
Anti-Discrimination
Title VII of the Civil Rights Acts of 1964, it prevents the discrimination of employees because of their religion, sex, race, color, or nationality(Knowles, et al 2014). This regulation applied to employers who had more than fifteen employees on the payroll for the twenty weeks of a current calendar year. An employer was not to refuse on employing anyone, discharging an employee from employment or rather discriminating an employee. Also, there is the discrimination of age in employment Act, and it prevents the unfairness in either hiring or firing of employees of forty years of age or more.
