In: Biology
iv) Ecology is the study of interactions among organisms and their biophysical environment which includes both biotic and abiotic components.
v) Halophiles- The organism which live in marshy lands ( mangroves)
thermoacidophiles- they grow on extreme temperature and acidic conditions.
vi) Abiotic components are the non living component (wind, sunlight, radiation ,humidity, soil)
vii) biotic component- these are the living component of the ecosystem(producers, consumers, decomposers)
viii) physical factors-rainfall,temperature
biotic factors- predators and competitors
landscape- the structure of land or area in an ecosystem this have impact on migration of species
ecosystem- is the large community of living organisms in a particular area and its interactions with the physical environment
community-is a group or association of population of two or more different species occupying in same geographical area at the same time.
population-a group of organisms of a species that interbreed and live in the same place at a same time.
organism-is the simplest level in ecology , it is an individual
biome- a large naturally occuring community of flora and fauna occupying a major habitate
biosphere-the regions of earth or atmosphere where living organism occur
major abiotic components- sunlight, wind, humidity, rainfall
macroclimate-climate of large geographic area , this may be global, regional, or landscape level.
microclimate-climate of a small area
