Please write about China’s eastern and western developments are seriously unbalanced. What are the main aspects of this, and what are the reasons for these gaps? (1500 words)

Western China is home to many ethnic groups of China for eg. Uyghurs. Western china is rural and less developed with respect to eastern China.

LANGUAGE

Eastern china speaks mandrain and it is home to many han chinese in china and home to a number of expats who usually live in Shanghai. In Western China, the city names are quite distinct, less developed and not named in mandrain generally ( like Ürümqi,Kashgar or Lhasa).

LOCATION AND TERRAIN

The terrain is rugged and there are too many mountains and highland in Western parts. But these places are rich in natural resources like oil, gas and minerals etc. Compared to Western regions, Eastern parts have many plains and even terrain.

POPULATION

Density of population in Eatern part is much higher than western region.

PROXIMITY TO COAST

Since the places on Eastern side have proximity to coast so trade is highly developed. Eastern China is highly developed than the rest. The Eastern region covers from Guangdong Province in the south all the way north along the coast, including Shanghai, to Shandong Province. These areas are well positioned to take advantage to become an export-oriented manufacturing powerhouse. As such, the Pearl River (Guangdong, HK) and Yangtze River Deltas (Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang) are few of the most industrialized zones in the country. Agriculture is easier than western parts.The major top cities of China including Beijing ,Shanghai,Shenzhen etc. are all located in Eatern part of the country.
