Air travel can be made safer by increasing the security efforts.
Yes surely it will somewhere be indicated somewhere on the statistics. In the most comfortable, time efficient as well as somewhat pocket friendly journey if a passenger is accommodated with a more security one would surely be trying his pocket as well. The need of transportation is never going o decrease or in the economic terms the consumers and the demand in this segment is up facing. What people need is improvisation which can make the flights more customer-centric.
The betterment of the air travel will surely affect other transportation sectors like Railways, roadways waterways etc. Its affect will be seen in different ways. We already know that the demand of air travel will increase that will lead to two situations
1. Increase in Demand will increase the equilibrium price and demand will automatically decrease.
2. New firms will enter the market and competition will increase that will again lead to reduction in prices and betterment in services.
The second case is more likely to take place because the expansionary aspect of economy is always appreciated. If the second case comes to reality it will hurt the Railways sector so seriously that it will either start incurring loses or it will become the external force of the airways business. So the competition will now include railways and other transport businesses.
