Leanness is effective approach to supply chain management. The principle of lean concept is to elimination of non value added activity that does not contribute value to warehouse design, supply, transportation & operation. The primary motive is to achieve a highly cost efficient supply chain and to satisfy the customer demand. The concept of lean supply chain is closely linked with steady business environment. It need to aimed at searching for new concepts that would provide suitable complement to the paradigm of lean. The concept of agile and resilient supply chain represents one of the main directions in this area.
Agile concept is support to changes in demand for volume and variety by the customer. It is become eefective to changes in business environment and work on unexpected change in business environment with cusomer satisfaction. It become changes in competetive environment & general environment.
By the concept of lean warehouse design become effective so that material movement and upkeep become easy. Some method can be apply based on organization requirement so that organization become profit and smooth process can be followed. Lean project can be applied for effective operation so that non value added activity can be remove from the process. It will lead to cost effective operation and increase the organization profit. Scheduling of Raw material & finished good can be done through the lean concept so customer delivery become effective. It leads to satisfy the customer requirement.
