One alternative is to find more budgeting and increase the size of the prisons so that way caseloads are not as high on the parole officers and every offender can be accounted for. Or another way is to only release those with less serious crimes on parole. One example two people are up for parole a man who was found guilty on the manslaughter of his daughter a man who was found guilty on assault and battery on a minor for attacking his daughter. They have the option to let both go on parole instead of doing that flooding the parole system the pick the lesser one which was assault and battery crime.

It may possibly cut down on the prison crowd and the parole officer case overload. If we budgeted for more prisons that could mean higher taxes for the community or any money that is seized off an offender and found guilty use that money for funding. The less case loads means that parole officers can do their jobs efficiently and keep the community safe because they can keep track of all their parolee’s.
