Skin tone:
People in the world have different types of skin tone according to their body. There are different skin tones like fair, olive, brown, dark brown and black brown.
Dark skin tone:
The dark skin tone people looks a little darker than the fair skin tone. The majority of people in Africa have a dark skin tone and majority of people in the equatorial region have a dark skin tone. This is because in the equatorial region the temperature and the summer is so intense.
To tolerate the sun rays such as ultra violet rays , heat and temperature the skin tone is dark. The darker skin tone is usually occurs due to the increased melanin pigmentation in the skin.
This increased melanin pigmentation leads to darker skin tone which prevents the damage to the DNA.
The darker skin tone have a greater immune power and heat tolerating capacity comparing to fair skin people.
The evolutionary pressure of skin lightening skin tones is due to fair skin people migrate to the areas away from equatorial region and made a change in skin tone as evolution.
After the migration of fair skin people the skin tone is changed in evolution by gene mutation.
The evolutionary pressure is due to people and popularity in the society look back the skin lightened people more specially beautiful.
The products marketing made the people to believe that fair skin tone is a beautiful skin.
This made the evolutionary pressure that caused an desire to lighten the skin tones.
