QUESTION- How do you use microscopic images of a specimen to explore the change of the Golgi during cell cycle. What would you find?
SOLUTION-
1. It is the part of cytokinesis- physical separation of cytoplasmic component of parent cell.
2. Changes of golgi complex mainly observed in plant cell.
3. At the time of interphase relevant enzyme, structural protein and glucose accumulated by Golgi complex.
4. Golgi complex then transforms into many smaller vesicles and disperse throughout the both daughter cell.
5. Cytokinesis taken place in plant cell through the formation of cell plate at centre region of whole cell.
6. During telophase this vesicle fuses with cell plate and form phragmoplast.
7. Cell plate enlarges as more and more vesicle fuses till it merges with peripheral cell wall of adjoined cell.
8. Then the accumulated enzyme, glucose and protein of golgi vesicle use to form new cell wall of both daughter cell.
9. Cell membrane of glogi becomes the part of cell membrane of both daughter cells.
