I need to write an essay about the following:
Suppose you are in job interview of your dream job and the question
asked to you ''OUT OF ALL CANDİDATES ,WHY WE SHOULD HİRE YOU?"
It must have
1.Introduction
2.Developing ideas -Minimum 2 paragraph
3. Conclusion
Hi, Thanks for the question.
The first thing that you need to understand about an interview is that in the end, it is essentially a sales pitch, where the interviewer is the customer and the candidate is the product. So the candidate is basically trying to sell himself to the customer. So, in order to ace the interview, the candidate has to prepare a well planned and well-communicated sales pitch that answers all the questions that a prospective employer may ask.
The questions, "why should we hire you?", "out of all people, why should we hire you?", "what is it that you have that others don't?", are staple questions of the interview process and are always asked without fail in some form or the other. Another such question is "where do you see yourself in 2 years/5 years/10 years?"
So, to answer this question, as a general rule of thumb, the employer is looking for the following things when they ask this question:
1. Does the candidate put other candidates down in order to
highlight himself/herself?
2. Does the candidate know well about his/her field and skills and
how passionate he/she is about the field?
3. Have you handled a particular situation where you were in a
dilemma that deals with the company ideals and you solved it in a
learned way?
4. Does the candidate have any extra skills that might serve
additional purposes?
So, in order to answer this question effectively, make sure that your answer touches upon the upper points. Comparing yourself to others and putting them down is a strict no-no. It shows that you are not going to hold your integrity and disrespect anyone at a moment's notice to make sure you stay in the limelight. Though it may work in some cases, it does not come off as a likable personality for most and hence should never be used.
For the second part, the candidate should bring the employer's notice to the job description and the skills that you have to match those that are required. You can further add how you have used those skills in real-time to solve problems.
In the third part, the best approach would be to highlight or mention a scenario where you were faced with an ethical dilemma/ conflict, and using your intellect and EQ, you solved the issue and brought it to a close very amicably. This should very well highlight how you used your value education which also fall in line with the company's value to be considered as a top candidate.
Further, you can state which extra skills you have besides the needed skills which can assist them employer in some other regard. This will allow the employer to see how versatile you are and the wide range of responsibilities that can be delegated for you.
In the end, while there is no set answer, the above pointers are
as close as they can get to ace this question. Since it will allow
the employer to see how well informed you are and where your
competence lies. It will also bring to light your integrity and
dignity. Making sure to stay humble and not bragging is a key
factor here. Confidence is a must in the interview, but confidence
should not be so over-powering that it moves into the territory of
self-boasting.
Hence, in this way, the above question can be answered in the best
way possible.
