introduction about Types of Parking and parking regulations
Types of parking :
i) Parallel parking: In this parking, the vehicles are parked parallel to the curb i.e all the vehicles are faced in one direction . This type of parking is mainly used in street sides.
ii) Perpendicular parking : in this parking, the vehicles are parked perpendicular to the curb or to the wall,is mainky used in garages and parking bays.
iii) Angled parking : In this parking, the vehicles are parked with some accute angle to the curb or wall, is mainly used in where space is small .
iv) Double parking: In this parking, the vehicles are parked in such a way that one vehicle parks that another vehicle cannot depart, mainly used in some street or garages, where space is large. In street this type of parking is illegal.
Parking Regulations :
i) Parking should be done only in the parking lot or striped parking area and also within lined parking spaces ,otherwise the owner can be charged with penalty or the vehicle can be towed.
ii) Unathorized vehicles or restricted vehicles that are marked for special purposes may not be parked .
iii) Parking is strictly prohibited on campus roadway (firelane).
iv) The vehicles are parked in the parking lot by their own responsibility and should be placed by accordence.
