The business I am opening is Spirulina. Spirulina is a micro-algae and as such has been growing naturally in our environment for millions of years, it is a tough plant able to withstand harsh growing conditions, in fact, the micro-algae cell never really dies it goes dormant when weather conditions are not favorable, and as soon as these change and the environment is once again suitable for growth, spirulina begins growing and reproducing again. Naturally growing spirulina can be found in high alkaline lakes and in general, it is said that where flamingos are, spirulina is sure to be found. It is a type of cyanobacteria, which is a family of single-celled microbes that are often referred to as blue-green algae. Just like plants, cyanobacteria can produce energy from sunlight via a process called photosynthesis (Ebène, 2011-2016). The main reason that I am interested in such a product is that the product benefits people’s health which I am going to mention and cover in the rest of my report.

In this project, report is based on business of Spirulina. This plant is very useful for the people and their health so there are various capabilities for the startup that is related to Spirulina.

Some of the assets and capabilities are given as follows -

1. One of the most important capability that is possessed by the owner of the startup of Spirulina is concern for the health of the people so this product is going to be liked by various people.

2. Another capability for the startup is target market. Organization is free to choose its target market according to the requirement.

3. Another asset of the startup is noble cause because this product is for the health of the people so organization can get advantages of that.

4. This product is helpful in various ways in order to improve the functions of the human body or this organization can get good customer base in future.

This product can create image in the minds of customers. After reading the case study we can say that this product would be herbal in nature and can provide various health solutions to the customers and all these aspects will help the new startup to build an image of the organization in the minds of the customers. And organization can win competitive advantage.

(b) CUSTOMER LOYALTY

Customer loyalty can be gained in the business of Spirulina because this product will provide various benefits to the customer and if customer get benefits from the product then they will repurchase the product and it will help the organization to gain loyalty of customers. It can be treated as unique value proposition of the organization and helps in winning competitive advantage.

(c) ENVIRONMENT SUSTAINABILITY

In the startup business of Spirulina, organization can work on environment sustainability because this product is helpful for the health of the people and environment also. Future of this startup can be bright so we can call this parameter as a unique parameter of the startup.
