Ans 1- c. Coating bacteria with antibodies or complement component
Opsonization is the process by which particles such as bacteria and antigens are targeted for killing by an immune cell known as a phagocyte.
Binding molecules are usually IgG antibody and complement protein like C3b C4b. These molecules are also known as opsonins.
Ans 2. Raditation is the most important mechanism of heat transfer at rest.
There are 4 ways by which heat loss occurs in the body
1. Conduction -- In this method heat loss occurs by physical contact.
2. Convention -- Heat loss occurs due to air current or airflow.
3. Radiation -- Radiation refers to transfer of heat in the form of electromagnatic waves between surrounding and
the body without any physical contact.
4. Evaporation --- losing heat through conversion of water into vapour
Ans 3. Ovulation
FSH (Follicular stimulating hormone) and Leutinising hormone (LH) is secreted by anterior pituitary
FSH is responsible for secretion of estrogen from theca cells and causes Follicular growth
LH surge ocuurs prior to ovulation which is responsible for Ovulation.
