Operating Systems:
Describe in your own words the similarity or differences between any two desktop or mobile operating systems in terms of process management and file systems implementation. Mention proper references for your source of information.
Please choose systems OTHER THAN iOS and Android.
Thanks.
Windows and Linux are
basically two different Operating Systems which we can see and use
on Desktop. They are highly popular and have their own pros and
cons compared to each other.
Lets talk about process management here there's no similarity
between these two different operating system. On one side we have
Linux and on the other side we have Windows.
DIFFERENCE:
Process Management:
Linux is very much secure and is highly reliable. Linux mainly
focuses on process management that how the process will be managed
it is highly secure and LINUX users doesn't face much lags in
Linux.
Windows there's no doubt that it is a very old operating system its
generation are advanced but still comparing a new generation window
with a new Linux , we can easily determine that Linux wins because
no matter how much Windows pays attention towards its features they
normally forgets about to improve process management that makes
them less reliable they often sets to work on it but then we face
other issues like system instability and security
vulnerabilities.
FILE SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION:
When comes to file management we again declare LINUX as the winner because Windows only have two file system FAT and NTFS however LINUX has a variety offering different features. If we want to recover something from either of them in Windows there aren't much tools available but for Linux there are a tons of it.
