  • From there it is passed through esophagus by peristalsis into stomach.

  • Polypetides then passed into small intestine , where action of different type if pancreatic enzyme like trypsin , chymotrypsin and procarboxy peptidase occurs.

  • Large polypeptides are then converted into tripeptides , dipeptides .
  • These dipeptides and tripeptides are transported into mucosal cell by different type of protein transporter and convert this into single amino acid.
