Does knowing the cost of college change your view on attending or inspire you to work towards scholarships? Explain your reasoning.
The cost of college change will have it's impact on my view on attending it. In economics for every choice we makes, there is potential benefit that we lost out on by choosing that option. I am aware that the attending graduate school after college will not be cheap. There is a cost of books, room and board, annual tuition, transportation, clothing, food, and many more other things associated with attending college. Thus it's important that I must evaluate the cost of college with the opportunity cost of not attending the college. The salary would be the opportunity cost for me if I rejected the job offer during the student tenure. Also the non-monetary gains such as socializing with other people rather than spending time in college travel around the world, learning thinks related to my hobbies such as painting, music etc. Thus it will be important for me to evaluate the opportunity cost of not attending the college and measuring it against the benefits of attending the college in my career.
