Corona virus pandemic has had an impact on every individual in one way or the other way. We are witnessing a lockdown in most of the places which are affected by this pandemic. First and for most everyone is scared for their lives. There is a sense of panic everywhere. This lockdown has also restricted economic activities as people can not come out of their homes to run most of the economic activities. The jobs that can be done from home are carried on by letting people work from home while people who worked on daily wages in manufacturing sectors, hospitality sector etc, can not do work from home and so this kind of business and people who work in such professions are facing losses. Therefore governments are providing financial helps to people so that they can stay home and help flatten the spike in the curve of spread of this virus so that the strain on the health care institutions and workers are reduced. With flattened curve of spread they can get more time and space between more cases and they can provide care to all people who are affected and reduced the number of mortality. And this will also give some time for research for a cure or treatment. This lockdown can help isolate affected people from general population and stop the spread of virus.

Therefore in this necessary quarantine time we as individuals feel like time has somehow slowed down significantly. Now that we have this alone time it makes us reflect upon life in a whole new perspective. We think about nature and how the human race has exploited it for years and now that we are on a lockdown, we see animals roaming around on streets in some places, birds coming out. We witness the quality index of air being improved. This slowed down time makes us think about the uncertainty of the future, how we can not predict the nearest future with this new pandemic and not enough data about it.This pandemic has impacted students significantly as well as the schools, colleges, and all institutions of education has been closed for the purpose of social distancing. The semesters are delayed in lots of countries. Many students are being educated through the internet and digital mediums.Assignments are asked to be submitted through internet. Classes are organised online. This makes us think can this be a future of education system? Online educational websites are being developed since last few years and we find plenty of resources online. But we have never thought if these digital mediums can replace the conventional classroom systems. This pandemic introduces us to an opportunity to experiment with this idea.
