The employment related laws such as Equal Employment Opportunity laws by (EEOC) and Title VII of Civil Rights Act of 1964, strictly prohibit any kind of discrimination by the employer on the basis of gender, sex, race, ethnicity, age and se-xua-l orientation among the others. It makes the companies to go for the objective based criteria to select the candidates on the basis of merit, qualification and eligibility. It ensures that laws are complied with as well as diversity is also implemented in the organization. Further, the company can use the affirmative action related regulations to employ women and individuals from the minority communities. Here, the need of diversity is properly cared while fulfilling the regulatory obligations.
