The title of the article is "Unexpected amount of blood-borne protein enters the young brain".
Date of publication: 01/07/2020
It has been published in the online journal 'nature' in the column NEWS AND VIEWS.
The authors: Rosben N. Munji and Richard Daneman.
The subject of the experiment is the barrier between blood and brain. The experiment was done on the mice. So, there is no human participants. It is found in the experiment that in the case of young mice there is less barrier and protein enters into the brain directly from blood. In case of the older mice there is much barrier.
The problem statement of the research is that how protein flow in the brain declines along with the age.
The finding is that there is great role of protein in maintaining the smooth function in the brain. In the old age there is the decline of brain function because protein flow is not normal then and there are many barriers.
