Answer) Management today is considered as a scientific activity which involves various managing complex structures and has an organised body of knowledge which has been developed from years of study and has some universally accepted principles. It is just like an scientific Activity which has been developed by observations and experimentation. For example henry fayol concluded management principles by observing and experimenting which things work best in an organisation.
Management is required at all levels of management -lower level, middle level and higher level. Management is basically managing work at all these three levels of management by a group of managing officers. The are all well cooperated and coordinated.
Management as a scientific discipline means that Management is run by a set of procedures and protocols. These disciplinary measures cant be overridden. Just like in science , management also has certain disciplined steps which mangers has to follow like rosters, anti discrimination etc.

Tomas Bata really changed Management. He was the first one to make the world realise that the Customer Is everything and that every approach should be towards satisfying the customers. Second he told that there should be total quality management by which quality products reach the consumers and the third thing was that Employees should be happy. If they are not happy, then the company won't survive.
