Answer)

1) When considering computing, virtualization is defined to be an act of creation of the virtual version of a particular thing which would have a hardware platform, storage device, virtual computer, and the network resources.

There would be an instance of the computer system which would have layer abstracted from the existing hardware. This would have many OS on the system to be running.

So as to identify the characteristics of the virtual network components one needs to understand their structure and characteristics:

1) Virtual Desktop:

This is being used as Type I virtualization product which helps in giving a way to provide the performance level to run the high volume production server and also give way to the desktop user for running an instance of the other operating system on an independent system without dual booting.

2) Virtual Server:

This has a different instance of the installed OS that would run on a physical computer and without having the server access to the computer hardware directly it would run on an environment. It also gives permission to the administrator to run many roles on a single computer even without any interference.

3) Virtual Switch:

This helps in enabling the virtual machine for being involved in the physical network and also solve the network access

Some of the technique which would help in incorporating the virtual component in the VLAN is as follows:

Virtual Routing and Forwarding is considered to be a physical router that is divided into several virtual routers. This, in turn, would help in separating things from one another along with the subnet in many VRFs.

This would communicate with one another via the address family.

Also, port-channel is meant for combining many physical links as one virtual link.

Virtual Switching System which would be used for combining the considerably 2 physical switches as one virtual switch.
