Explain what is mean "there is no mobility in networks virtualization and thus the network configuration is anchored to hardware and its state is spread across a number of networking devices."?
This means how network virtualization is limited to certain resources and bounded by the hardware and the state on which it is staged and a network virtualization cannnot be utilized to it's full power. We see in the case of server virtualization where using automated software on general purpose hardware the virtualization is possible and utlized. The virtual network, on the other hand, is still provisioned manually, on specialized hardware, with keyboards and CLIs. Application dependent on the network drags for weeks and months until the network is ready.
Some of the feature that a server virtualization offers are -
Network virtualization on the other hand does nt offer these features, saying it's immobile because it is anchored on the hardware meaning it is limited to the hardware resources on which it is is staged and has it's own limits. The network configuration state is spread across a multitude of disparate network devices including both physical and virtual making snapshots almost impossible. Similarly, recreating the network architecture for disaster recovery is difficult for the network virtualization.
As these being failed concludes how network virtualization is limited in compare to the server virtualization.
