Explain what is meaning"•One obvious benefit of building a virtual network isthat it is inherently able to synchronize with the agility of virtual machines associated with thenetwork."
Virtualization is the process of creating a software-based, or virtual, representation of something, such as virtual applications, servers, storage and networks. It is the most effective way to reduce IT expenses while boosting efficiency of businesses.
The main purpose of a virtual network is to enable a data center or service provider network to provision the most suitable and efficient networking structure for the applications it hosts – and to alter that structure as conditions warrant, using software rather than requiring physical changes in connections to hardware.
When a hypervisor is used on a physical computer or server, (also known as bare metal server), it allows the physical computer to separate its operating system and applications from its hardware. Then, it can divide itself into several independent “virtual machines.”
Each of these new virtual machines can then run their own operating systems and applications independently while still sharing the original resources from the bare metal server, which the hypervisor manages. Those resources include memory, RAM, storage, etc.
