In your own personal experience, what has been essential for you to overcome a sense of shame. Share three factors that were necessary for the healing.
Shame is insidious, powerful and injurious. It makes us how we look upon the others; it informs how we see at ourselves. It’s a kind of a deadly virus which is attacking capacity to love each other and ourselves.
the three factors that are necessary for healing shame are as follows:-
1.Seeing:-
To heal your shame, you need to be truly seen. it means that to see in such a way that heals shame, is to look and then look again to see what is not seen and affirm the unseen with your physical and verbal recognition.
2.Feeling:-
To heal your shame, you need to be witnessed with compassion. to overcome the shame you need to not only see, but feel and express those feelings. You must pay attention to your own feelings.
3.Believing:-
Shame is a kind of a thief. shame steals your own belief in your experience and your belief in yourselves. To combat shame you need to be believed by others.To heal your shame, your feelings and deepest truths must be believed.
