House Journals are medium of communication, with the help of which stakeholders get to know about the image of the organization as it helps to promote the achievements and the status of the organization in the industry. House Journals plays quite an important role in this aspect where they are used for the upliftment or portraying the organizations benefits how the organization have been doing recently and even in the past. The advantages of a house journal is that it is an internal way of promoting the organization internally as well as externally. The organization generally portray their own story in their own way to the target audience and the target audience gather knowledge about the organization, its business, its process, employee satisfaction, management and staff relations, etc. The basic objective is to establish reputation and goodwill by proclaiming their own achievements and interests. It is produced monthly, quarterly or half yearly and is free of cost distributed to the mass whoa re interested in the business or who may be interested in the business. In this way it becomes convenient for the organization to express what they believe and how they want to work.
As there are various advantages of the journal, limitations are also present and the primary limitation is the authenticity of the statistics expressed because as the journal is forwarded by the organization itself so it can b assumed that the figures and facts may be a bit on the positive side from its actual value just to promote the value or image of the organization. Externally house journals may not have a huge acceptance because of the fact that data may be biased and that is quite normal because if an organization needs to write about their own then they will promote the strengths rather than focusing on the weakness hence the document may have restrictions because of the same.
