In programmable logic controller, we need to do two types of testing & these are as follows.

1. Factory acceptance test &

2. Installation acceptance test.

For installation acceptance test, first of all we will have to clear factory acceptance test. Because without checking the ferrulings & requirements how can we even think about the installation of controller in control unit.

Moreover in this testing, we choose a method called instrumentation hook uo drawings. Which is mainly used to drawing showing typical installation of instruments. So that it can work appropriately in sights & industries.

13.3 In programmable logic controller, we are two tyoes of instrumentation hook up drawing. & These tyoes are written below.

1. Pneumatic hookup drawing

2. Process hookuo drawing.

Both of drawing tests are combined known as start up testing. In this testing we always need to check ferrulings.
