Kidneys filter the blood and remove waste and extra fluid from the body and are essential for maintaining good health.
(Q.1). What is one possible reason for kidney failure?
Answer: If our kidneys stop working completely, our body fills with
extra water and waste products. This condition is called uremia.
Diabetes is the most common cause and high blood pressure is the
second most common cause of kidney failure. Other problems that can
cause kidney failure include: Autoimmune diseases, such as lupus
and IgA nephropathy,genetic disease such as polycystic kidney
disease, Nephrotic syndrome, Urinary tract problems.
(Q.2). Why would someone die if kidney failure occurs?
Answer: If our kidneys stop working completely, our body fills with
extra water and waste products. This condition is called uremia.
Untreated uremia may lead to seizures or coma and will ultimately
result in death.

someone else?What factors would go into your decision?
Answer: No, at first I can't donate my kidney but if there is a
condition occur for donating my kidney, I would like to donate my
kidney to my family member.
There may also be a chance of having high blood pressure later in
life with single kidney. There are some medical conditions that
could prevent us from being a living donor. These include having
uncontrolled high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, HIV, hepatitis,
or acute infections. People would think that if I need a kidney in
future where they can get it from? For these reason people can't
donate their kidney.
(Q.5).Hypothetically, what impact would having only one kidney
have on a person’s health?
Answer: There may also be a chance of having high blood pressure
later in life with single kidney. The loss inkidney function is
usually very mild, and life span is normal. Most people with one
kidneylive healthy, normal lives with few problems. Technically,
people can live with no kidneys, but require dialysis.
