None of the above

Solutions

Expert Solution

2.00 ounce

1 ounce = 29.6 mL

2 ounce   = 2*29.6ml   = 59.2ml

density of ethanol   = 0.789g/cm^3

mass of ethanol   = volume of ethanl * density of ethanol

                            = 59.2*0.789   = 46.7g

no of moles of ethanol   = W/G..M.Wt

                                      = 46.7/46   = 1.015 moles

atomicity of carbon in ethanol   = 2

no of carbon atom   = no of moles * 6.023*10^23 * atomicity of carbon

                                = 1.015*6.023*10^23*2

                                 = 1.22*10^24 carbon atoms

1.22 x 1024 >>>>>>answer
