Ans:- Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for using data analytics to assess processes, identify requirements and provide data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders to bridge the gap between IT and the business. BA interacts with business leaders and users to understand how data-driven changes in processes, products, services, software and hardware can increase efficiency and add value. They must clarify these ideas while balancing them with technically feasible, financially and functionally. Depending on the role, you might use data sets to improve products, hardware, tools, software, services or processes.

In an application development IT company, BA performs different tasks during the project life cycle.

1. Pre-project - help perform business analysis and define business needs.
2. Project Planning - Understand the project plan, conduct stakeholder analysis and plan the BA method with the help of the project manager as needed.
3. Demand Collection - Prepare the BRD or receive the BRD from the customer by performing different demand collection techniques. Sort the requirements, prioritize and validate the requirements.
4. Demand Analysis - Prepare the UML diagram. Prepare FRS according to business needs and get help from architects to develop SSDs. Finally, the SRS is prepared according to the previously prepared document. BA also prepares RTM documents for its sole owner.
5. Design - There is not much to do except to convey design and solution documentation to the customer to drive UAT
6. Development - The BA hereby clarifies the technical team's questions based on the charts he has prepared. Status meetings are also held regularly between the technical team and the customer to help customers prepare for UAT.
7. Test - Develop a test case and perform advanced tests with a separate BA or with the help of a test manager.
8. Deployment - Help to log out project end documentation, share RTM and end user manuals, and train end users
