- Easily grows at 30°C on agar medium.
2) It cauaes several infectious disease such as skin

Ways of infection: It can acquired through skin,urinary

3) Biochemical assays to confirm it;
- MacConkey test: It is used to distinguish those gram negative
bacteria that can ferment lactose.
- Triple sugar iron test: Used to determine whether gram negative
bacteria utilizes glucose or lactose fermentatively and produce
hydrogen sulphide.
- Phenol red test: After incubating the liquid containing
bacteria,if it turns yellow ,than this test is positive for
enterobacter cloacea.
- Citrate test: It is a selective test for bacteria that has
ability to ferment lactose.
Result: Positive if it turns blue.
Negative if it remains green.
4) Antibiotics include - Carbapene,aminoglycosides,TMP-SMZ
etc.
