Unfair recruitment issue:

  • Asking commission fee, example 15 days salary for 1st month’s salary by a recruitment agency team member for arranging or clearing an interview/ providing offer letter

Technique used to prevent such issue:

  • Verbal Cross checking about any such terms or conditions is issue with the HR directly, so that requirement of any such commission can be cross verified and dealt accordingly
  • Cross verification in 1st step itself with written clarification needed for payment of any such commission fees in prior to any recruitment procedure.

Last step helps to avoid any further fraud or scam in the first place itself, as only fraud recruitment agencies generally ask for such commission fee, else company’s pay directly to such agencies for any employee hirings. While first step will cross check and avoid any fraud/ scam going jointly with HR team and recruitment agency.

Current employment activities familiar & background checks adopted:

Sales manager – industrial with automation MNC- Cross verify for any hidden terms and conditions regarding any service bond to be signed/ any payments to be made etc. directly from the company HR via written and verbal

Business Development manager with a local manufacturing company- cross check with local recruitment agency who is hiring for this local company for any pre-commissions or advance payment fees or any fees to be paid after receiving offer letter from the company.
