Discuss the 4 P's of causal analysis and their importance to the use of IT/MIS tools in Project Management.
The four P's of casual analysis are policies, procedures, people, and plants (technology). Let's discuss each in brief-
a)Policies-These are the guiding force or we can say the course of action or principle of action to be adopted by an individual or an organization.
b)people: This is the most important factor as without this resource it is difficult to process anything. The right type of people with the right skills at right time and place is boon for any organization.
c)Procedures: It is said as the documentation of the things that need to be followed. The procedure is being structured to explain the factors who, what, where, when, and why byways of setting corporate accountability in support of the implementation of a the set objectives or policies.
d)Plants: It thrives through the process formulated. Plant or technology is the driving force.
Importance of 4p's in IT/MIS tools in Project Management.
IT/MIS tool in project management is the orderly organization of the information required for an organization to execute projects successfully. In the execution of any project, these 4 p's play an important role because before stating any project policies, procedures,people hiring, and plants or technology to be used are being decided upon.IT/MIS tool is all about efficient project management and these 4 P's can serve as a systematic tool to facilitate better project process implementation and reaching the set goal.

Help in policy formation or scheduling, estimation of resources, documentation of data and projet control, choosing the right people for the right work, and indulging in the best technology to achieve results. Helps in better resource leveling and scheduling.
