Every job position and offer has a lot of analysis done into it. No company posts a job vacancy without having an image of an ideal candidate to take that spot. In this case, we have to assume that for the post the fresh graduate was interviewed might have needed a few years of facing the issues, customers and problems. The fresh graduate might have had better academic record but it could be possible that he has never been in such a demanding situation as the work vacancy demands. It could also be possible that the selected candidate might have had experience of working in such situation. In reality, he would be a closer match to the ideal candidate profile the company was looking for.

Most companies often have a fixed budget for any role and vacancy they offer. If more than candidate is available, the hiring is forced to select one of them. In this case, it could have been the experienced candidate the company felt was a better prospect to the role. On the other side, if the fresh graduate was a better fit, he would have been selected over others.

Calculate the amount of ATP in kg that is turned over by a resting human every 24 hours. Assume that a typical human contains ~50g of ATP (Mr 505) and consumes ~8000 kJ of energy in food each day. The energy stored in the terminal anhydride bond of ATP under standard conditions is 30.6 kJmol-1. Assume also that the dietary energy is channeled through ATP with an energy transfer efficiency of ~50%. Express your answer to two significant figures, and...

Both genes have unknown functions. Design an experiment or series of experiments that would allow you to 1) discern which gene is the cause of the mutation, 2) determine if it most likely...
