Recruitment and staffing of people is an important part in industrial psychology and it requires a lot of skill on the part of recruiter as well. Any kind or form of hiring or recruitment is strictly based on the organisation's demand for a particular position. working on key job responsibility areas with the hiring department is really important. The repective manager generally provides the job description along with key areas that most be considered before hiring, while the company provides the recruitment budget. For a customer things like: proper delivery of order, pleasant personality are thing that matter most specially in service and hospitality sector. depending upon the organisation associated with recruitment certain basic conditions may change. Essential academic qualifications like: a degree or a certificate course may work, while some high end restraunts prefer to have academically sound candidates with good knowledge of hopitality ethics and mannerism (though organisations also provide training for that to the selected candidates). verbal skills, interpersonal skills, dressings sense and good memory of course. All these indicate that assessment should be in a multi hurdle approach. From written and verbal expression of ideas ,to direct face to face structured interview, to role play etc. asssessment can be done in a variety of manner. As mentioned earlier depending upon the nature, budget, and requirement of the hiring organisation.
