There are some evidence about the coronavirus being mutated and some evidence suggest that it is evolved naturally.

The two points that favor the evidence that coronavirus is mutated virus are:

I. This virus is very harmful as compare to the other virus of the SARS-Cov2 family.

II. This virus spread very fast as compared to other virus of this family.

The two points that favor the formation of coranavirus from natural selection are:

I. The virus show no sign of any inserted gene into the genome of viruses.

II. The virus genome is very similar to the virus of SARS-Cov2 family.

I believe in the evidence that coronavirus is naturally evolved. This is because of recent article published in the Nature medicine journal which say that according to their research coronavirus genome is not mutated at all and have no sign of inserted gene in its genome.
