Senior Friendly Communities:( SFC approach)_ Designing an approach for cross-border exchange of public health policy

Dimentia , depression are now a days common in our society . So as a responsible citizens there is a need of creating health policy for people with late life depression dimentia and informal care givers . The SFC approach mainly focus on old people public health in countries like Meuse-Rhine, a border region of Belgium, Germany and in Netherlands. It consists of mainly 5 steps
1)creating an infrastructure
(2)including communities
(3)baseline assessments among the participants
(4) creating variety of activities promoting older people’s wellbeing
(5) implementing the activities for creating a sustainability
It can serve as a guideline for other regions that have the cross-border exchange of health policy .
The main highlights of the policy are

SFC can be implemented at all levels of the govt system.This type of Small scale health policies affect clinics, health providers, and individual hospitals to a small extend. So that there is better possiblity to change the present situation . The involvement of government and other stakeholders can bring to light the present health issues such as dimentia and late depression in olde age so that we can work towards a common goal.
