1) Place - Customer has plenty of opportunity to purchase the same product at various locations, such as grocery stores , supermarkets and malls. Yet one important factor influences the actions of customers is that the place of purchase is near their house. Some time customers just want to buy from the nearest place in a hurry. Pepsico aims to have the highest retail penetration and reach so that every customer round the globe can have easy access to their products in the nearest retail outlet. For this they have carried out decentralized transnational policies in their operation to have local advantage in various countries they sell their products in.
2) Product - It is the most critical component to the client. Product quality determines the way of purchase. When the customer is loyal to the same brand and specific product.it means the customer has been pleased with the quality of the product. Pepsi Co currently sells a range of items including soft drinks, energy drinks, popcorn, rice sandwiches, sandwiches, side dishes, breakfast bars, sports supplements, bottled water and other goods. Originally, Pepsi had just started with soft drinks. With the purchase of different firms such as Frito Lay, the following items were added to the portfolio.
3) Price - The specific price a firm sets has a direct relationship to consumer behaviour. When the price is small relative to the competition, or substitutes products and services, then profits should rise directly. So if the company's fixed price is considerably higher than anticipated, then the rate of revenue will decline. The pro\ice of the products of Pepsi Co is set competitively according to the market. There is a stiff compeition on price specially in the soft drinks market goes on with Coke, so the marketers need to be extra careful about setting the price of a low involvement products like these else the customers will switch brands.
4) Promotion - Sales promotion is a technique mainly used by the marketer in order to influence and encourage the customers' end-users to purchase a certain product in a certain time period. And to stand in the competitive market the company has used various promotion strategies.
