Corporate social responsibility has become new norm in many organization these days especially with many big organizations are considering CSR as static alternative. CSR if implemented properly has many advantages that can be leverage to the organization advantage.

  • CSR improves companies reputation, brand image, operational cost saving and as a research conducted by ibm employees are interested in working with companies which are involved in csr activities and they can retain right talent over long period of time.
  • When CSR is allined with companies objectives it is seen than it gives competitive differentiation, permission to enter new markets and it can position it self in better place in costumer mind.
  • Profit: Consider an example of Walmart when company decided to provide sustainability training to its employees than after the training employee recommended that to remove bulbs from vending machine which are kept on 24/7.Considering this suggestion Walmart has saved $1million per year and it benefited the planet by consuming less energy and saving it.By saving more energy it is saving planet in a sustainable way.
