Discuss the three general principles that justifies why organizations engage in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
As a result of the vulnerability or we can say uncertainty
encompassing the idea of CSR activity it is hard to characterize
CSR and to be sure about any such activity. It is along these lines
basic to have the option to distinguish such activity and they take
the view that there are three fundamental principles which together
contain all CSR activity. These are:
Sustainability; Accountability; Transparency.
• Sustainability
This is concerned about the impact which activity taken in the
present has upon the alternatives accessible later on. In the event
that assets are used in the present, at that point they are not, at
this point accessible for use later on, and this is of specific
concern if the assets are limited in amount.
• Accountability
This is concerned about an association perceiving that its
activities influence the outer condition, and along these lines
accepting accountability for the impacts of its activities. This
idea along these lines infers an evaluation of the impacts of
activities taken, both inside to the association and
remotely.
• Transparency
Transparency, as a guideline, implies that the outside effect of
the activities of the association can be learned from that
association's announcing and appropriate realities are not
camouflaged inside that detailing. In this way all the impacts of
the activities of the association, including outside effects, ought
to be obvious to all from utilizing the data gave by the
association's revealing instruments.
