It is said that type A personality people are more prone to stress and illness such as high BP and often have heart problems.The type A behavoir people are more comptetant, they always feel that their tasks should be done on time, they have schedule and they follow that. They are ambitious and have high goals, they can become impatient aggressive if the goals are not met. All these things lead to stress, their constant urge of achieving some or the other thing also leads to increased blood prressure. Because they are not stable in their thought, they not patient enough or do not have let go attitude in life.

Type A are competitive by nature, they also tend to do more than one thing at one time, they wnt to be efficient in most of the things. They have fight response and do not have flight response.

It is said that unlike most of the patients the Type A personality people having cardiovascular illness are not able to sit at one place for long time. This was the research done by Friedmann and Rosenman both were cardiologists, and found a upholsterer complaining about chairs being worn out and patients using them in an unsual way.
