Discuss a love-hate relationship that you have with an organization (can be a brand, a place of employment, etc). In your opinion, what does that organization do well in the relationship? What does the organization do that causes your frustration?
Love-hate relationship is based on various matters. It appears that an employee has good relationship with one but bitter relationship with other. There may be many groups for such relationship. The main reasons of love-hate relationship are:
An employee loves his organization when organization fulfills his needs. But he may hate the leadership who tries to overpower the employee and creates unnatural pressure on the employees. There are many situations that create such relationship. It causes frustration in the employees and they lose the spirit of work. Organization is not always responsible for this. Personal prejudice, hereditary issues may cause the problems. It hampers the performance of the company.
In such case the organization needs to follow some specific strategy. The management must have a grievance cell where the employees can complain for any specific problem. Besides the organization must have a mixed culture free from all types of prejudices. There should be exchange of skill and experience with the help of group performance under the leadership of the team leader. There should be harmony in the employees. There should be change of shifts of work. In the system management must maintain proper equality and impartiality.
