A team leader is a very crucial part to play, think of your organizations where you have seen a person into this role; he was the real doer and has a bigger objective to achieve. The position demands a highly skilful and visionary person who knows how to lead the team. Let us see how and what factors that contribute –

  • A team leader supports the team and stand by side in their time of need. For any unwelcoming situation he must ask the team to contribute in their best thinking or suggest some possibilities. By doing this he makes sure the team feels their importance, he listens them and welcome their suggestions. This makes the team people more inclined towards their duties and they try to perform well.
  • Imposing riles and regulation is not welcomed in this changing environment rather a discussion to have an open dialogue where free exchange of ideas take place. This creates excitement in the workplace.
  • He generally supports his team in their co-curricular activities and asks them to participate willingly. It automatically creates trust and loyalty.
  • He enforces confidence in the team by pushing them towards achieving more, but he looks productivity in terms of quality and not quantity.
  • He goes beyond his self-interest for the goodness of the team. In doing this the actions he might perform are asking for voluntary contribution towards team outing, certification programs and several others.
  • He is very clear on his part and knows what and how things can be done of there is any deviation from the said principles he stops and takes appropriate steps to check the saviour ness. After all he has to take the responsibility of the entire team.
  • As a whole he facilitates the good changes, negotiates well in any situation, has a potential to lead the team, he motivates, support and safeguard their personal and professional interest.
