  • Parallel Muscles - the fascicles are present parallel to the long axis of the muscle. This muscle orientation is most common among skeletal muscles.
  • convergent muscles - All the fibres of muscles are attached at the common area and based over a broad area .
  • Circular muscles - The muscles are concentrically arranged around openings.
  • Pennate musclese - Here the fascicles form a common angle with the tendon and the muscle takes on the shape of a feather at the apexes.
