1) Obesity can cause fatty deposits to build up in the liver just like alcoholics developer. This disease progresses without symptoms, while short term effects are like : gastrointestinal bleeding , anemia , encephalopathy, liver cancer etc. It happens where the liver , which normally helps to process and regulate amount of sugar and fat in blood , becomes overwhelmed as well and starts storing excess fat builds up fatty liver cells .If too much fat builds up , the liver cells can be damaged .
Liver function test are a group of blood tests that provide information about state of patient's liver. Tests include PT/INR , aPTT, bilirubin test , albumin test etc . Testing is done o patient's blood sample. Some biochemical tests are useful in evaluation and management of patients with hepatic dysfunction.
2) Due to increased levels of androgens or oversensitive hair follicles towards to androgen are available to men at high levels, women also have these hormones in smaller quantities . Diagnosis can be done by analysing medical history of the patient with special focus on menustrial cycle . Due to irregular menustrial cycle , it can be poly cystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) . By measuring levels if testosterone and it's levels and DHEA in blood . A doctor can check for signs of PCOS , ovarian tumors , adrenal gland tumors etc. Several blood tests are also carried out . Doctor may test for levels of hormone prolactin to check signs of tumour in pituitary gland.
