VII. You suggest a mean comparison procedure to evaluate differences between means of the drug groups and show her the following output.

drug emmean   SE df lower.CL upper.CL .group

1      79.9 1.59 16     76.5     83.2 A

2      85.8 1.67 16     82.2     89.3   B

3      88.9 1.98 16     84.7     93.1   B

Results are averaged over the levels of: diet

Confidence level used: 0.95

P value adjustment: tukey method for comparing a family of 3 estimates

significance level used: alpha = 0.05

a. Explain to her that the SE's (standard errors) are a function of three factors in the model used.

b. How do you interpret the confidence limits of drug 2.

c. If this were your thesis project data, write a sentence explaining differences among the drug group means in the manner that you would in your thesis.

d. Do you have any suggestions for further analysis

Standard error statistics are a class of insights that are given as output in numerous inferential statistics, yet work as illustrative statistics. In particular, the term standard error refers to a (gathering/group) of statistics that give data about the scattering of the qualities inside a set. The standard error is a important indicator of how exact a gauge of the populace parameter the sample statistic is. Accepted together with such measures as impact size, p-value and sample size, the impact size can be a helpful apparatus to the analyst who looks to understand the accuracy of (insights/statistics) determined on random samples.

a) In the above given Output , There are 3 groups . For computing/calculating Standard error we can say that approximately 95% of the information/data will fall inside plus or take -2 standard deviation for same sample measure/size.

c)We see that,

1) drug 1 comes under group A

2) drug 2 and drug 3 comes under group B

drug 1 has lower mean than that of drug 2 and drug 3.

There is significant difference between drug 1 and drug 2 or drug 3
