A paradigm shift is a change in the way we perceive things as we try to understand them.A paradigm is a worldview, a way of seeing and understandinga pattern of thought or a processing thing.
2. What are some legal substances that count as a drug at work? What are some illegal ones?
The examples of legal substances that can count as a drug in the workplace are red bulls because some employees believe it can help maintain their stamina while working, another one that, remains as one of the most abused substances in the U.S.would be cigarette tobacco (nicotine) use. Some illegal drugs that should not be consumed while working consist of heroin, marijuana, and alcohol.
3. What are some reasons an employee may want to use drugs at work?
Some employees may decide to use these types of dependents to help them deal with the everyday pressure of performing their daily duties at work. For instance, to perform better at meeting their daily goals or deadlines and possibly boost their energy levels in order to do so or to even calm their nerves at the end of a workday but does so before leaving work.

5. What are the requirements for informed consent when it comes to employees accepting the organization’s invitation to use drugs?
The organization is required to inform the employee what type of drug they will be given and the risks and benefits of taking the said drug. They must fully understand why the drugs are being provided So, therefore, they must be given a clear indication of what acceptance or rejection means for their career and lastly they must be allowed a deliberative decisionthe option should be offered for consideration, not thrown at them for a sudden yes-no answer. They should be given some time to decide and think about it before making a final decision.
