Insulin hormone regulates sugar concentration in blood. It regulates the blood sugar levels .

Insulin hormone signals liver and fat cell to store glucose when glucose level is high in the blood. Thus it helps the cell to take glucose and utilize the energy for different metabolic activities .

If insulin level is high den blood sugar level will fall. And if it's too little then blood sugar levels will rise.
