Ctenophora is the sister taxon to the cnidaria. They have arised from the node which has radial symmetry. The ctenophora and cnidaria represents the sister lineage of bilateral symmetry. All the ctenophora are characterised by the presence of eight rows of ciliated comb plates.

The subphylum of ctenophora are:

* Tentaculata : they have tentacles

* Nuda: they don't have tentacles

The development and play of muscles in locomotion is a key characteristic of the animal clade. First, defend this statement by reviewing the importance of muscle-driven locomotion among bilaterians keeping in mind their size and the limitations of protist locomotion-mechanisms . In your second paragraph, discuss key differences between the use of muscles for locomotion in worms with a hydrostatic skeleton and animals with hard internal or external skeletons . In your last paragraph, consider the pros and cons of...

Chordates, members of the phylum Chordata, are part of the clade Deuterostomia. Chordates include the vertebrates (animals that have a vertebral column, or backbone) as well as three groups of invertebrates. Part A - Derived characters of chordates All chordates share a set of derived characters during at least some part of their life. Drag the labels to their correct locations on the diagram of chordate characters below. Use blue labels for blue targets and pink labels for pink targets.
