What is shoulder surfing? What is smurfing?
Shoulder surfing is basically a social engineering attack under which the attackers try to get confidential information by looking over somebody's shoulder to read what's on their computer screen or to observe what they're typing.
Smurfing, also known as smurf attack refers to a process done by the hackers in which they send ping messages to a number of systems, and simultaneously spoof the source IP address so that they appear to come from the intended victim.
