During adolescence and adulthood, people face various challenges like-

Physical changes- In this time of development, people face a drastic physical changes like,

• They are now able to reproduce.
• Voice of the males starts changing.
• Menstruation cycle starts for females.
• Pubic hair starts to grow.
• Breasts of females start to develop.
• Their growth occurs faster than any stage.

Cognitive development : Cognitive development is very significant in this stage-

• Their reasoning skills are very advanced.
• They develop the ability to think abstractly.
• They develop the capacity to solve the complex problems.

Emotional Development : Drastic emotional change can be seen in this stage-

• They are much focussed towards autonomy.
• They spend more time with friends.

Social development : Changes occur in this stage are-

• They likely to enter in a romantic relationship.
• They develop a sense of ego-identity.
• They may suffer from role diffusion, i.e , "who am I?"

Thus successful way-out to deal with this stage can be-

• Give the child proper education about development.
• Don't humiliate or laugh at them when they ask some silly questions
• Listen carefully when they are saying anything.
• Encourage them.
• Help them to build self confidence.
• Try to understand their feelings.
