How do you feel about physical fitness in physical education programs? Should it be something we teach separately, or intertwined with the rest of the curriculum on sports, games and movement activities? You can write about how you approach your own fitness…do you use sports as part of your training, or do you train completely separately? If appropriate, how would you use these personal experiences with fitness training with your students/athletes when you’re a coach/PE teacher in the future?
Physical education is very esse ntial in school. It helps the students to understand the importance of physical fitness. Through physical education we can make students understand it is essential for humans to lead a healthy life, it is a part of our life and we want to consider fitness workout as our daily routine. There is a need for teaching physical education seperately, because now a days childrence consider it only as games or sports activities, but it is not the case. Physical fitness activities not only includes games, it includes several other activities, exercises, etc, which helps to increase muscle strength, blood flow, it helps us to feel fresh and energetic. I used to provide fitness training separately, in my fitness training class, i teach students several fitness activities along with their benefits and i also teach them how, when and how much times they can do that activity.
